Drones and Dogs

Scent Evidence K9 partnered with the FSU Emergency Management and Homeland Security Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) team for the Feb. 2017 Drones and Dogs event. The 2 trailing organizations developed the program to train law enforcement officials and researchers on how to best integrate search dogs and drones in Search and Rescue Operations (SAR). The training culminated in a real world mission assisting the Leon County Sheriff’s Office search for a missing person. FSU students and faculty supported the effort!
