Scent discriminate bloodhounds are the cornerstone of successful K9 trailing teams. Scent Evidence K9 dogs are trained to the demanding standards of our M77® Human Scent Discriminate K9 Training Plan, utilizing registered and standardized scent discriminate trailing processes for training our AKC registered K9s. Each Bloodhound has been socialized and trained to trail one to twenty-four-hour aged trails and is trained for passive alert when finding a target. Scent Detection K9s
We train a wide variety of Detection K9s in agricultural threats, invasive species, and electronic communication device detection. Our dual-purpose scent detection K9s are trained using our innovative M422 Scent Detection and M77 Scent Discriminate training systems and passively alert (sit) when finding the target.

Paul is a former FBI Forensic Canine Operations Specialist and has dedicated his entire 30-year career to public service in the fields of education, law enforcement, criminal justice, investigations, forensics, and emergency management.
Paul instructs scent discriminate K-9 trailing, scent collection techniques, and missing person response protocol training for law enforcement and SAR handlers across the U.S. and Europe.

December 2024 - Fantastic week of scent discriminate handler training as 5 agencies began working with their 6 new SEK9 Bloodhounds. K9 Belle and K9 Duchess begin work this week at their new jobs with the Kissimmee Police Department (FL). K9 Cleo starts her new job with the Sokaogon Chippewa Community PD (WI). K9 Scout is ready to start work with the City of Chino Police Department (CA). K9 Gerty is on her way to CA as well to begin with Blue Haven Intl. and K9 Bayard will being starting his new job with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, NC. The K9 handlers did a great job bonding with their new K9 partners and all received their handler certifications.
